Kelly Carrero is a researcher for the South America desk at ACLED and has been with the organization since August 2023. In this role, she covers political violence, demonstrations, and other key developments in Colombia and assists with coding for other countries in the region. Kelly holds a B.A. in International Relations from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and her research background includes peace, conflict, and political violence.
