Laura Calderon Fuentes is a Senior Research Assistant for the South America desk at ACLED and has been with the organization since October 2021. In her position, she is primarily responsible for coding events of political violence and demonstrations mainly for Colombia and reviewing data. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Rosario University in Bogota and is undergoing a graduate degree in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law in the same university.
