Maria-Claudia Flament is an Africa Research Manager at ACLED. Previously, she was ACLED's Researcher for the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Development from McGill University and most recently, she earned a Master’s degree in Conflict Studies at the London School of Economics (LSE). Her primary research interests are post-conflict state building, transitional justice, and electoral violence. She is fluent in French, Spanish, and English.
