Tatjana von Peter

Tatjana is a South America Researcher at ACLED, where she has worked since November 2024. Her work focuses on the collection and analysis of political violence and protest data across the region. Prior to joining ACLED, she conducted research on conflict and food security at the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), and contributed to projects for the UNODC and the World Bank. She has also published policy and analytical pieces on environmental governance and land rights.
Tatjana holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam.
