The ACLED Conflict Alert System (CAST) is a global prediction tool that forecasts the number of political violence events that will occur in each upcoming rolling-four-week period, for the next six periods, in every country around the world
The ACLED Explorer allows you to filter and summarize data from the past year. Country profiles show data at the subnational level, as well as trends based on number of events, fatalities, and civilians exposed to violence.
ACLED Trendfinder offers an array of interconnected tools for tracking patterns of political violence and protest. Using the visualization platform, you can identify important changes in political violence and protest across and within countries, situate this activity within historical contexts, and spot early warning signs.
The Conflict Exposure Calculator integrates data from ACLED with population size estimates from WorldPop, to estimate the civilian impact by proximity to an event, event type, type of violent actor or specific armed group, location, and time.
