IStories Media (Important Stories) is an independent investigative media outlet founded by award-winning Russian journalists. IStories’ journalism is widely recognized for its quality, accuracy, and integrity, earning international acclaim and prestigious awards.
Since 2022, because of severe pressure from Russian authorities and Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, IStories has been operating from exile. The media outlet investigates issues of public interest: from Russian war crimes in Ukraine and the human life cost of the war for Russians, to the impact of the war on the current social, economic, and political state of Russia, corruption, and abuse of power.
