Bianca Ceccon

Southern & Eastern Africa Research Manager

Bianca Ceccon is the Southern and Eastern Africa Research Manager at ACLED. She first joined the organization as a Southern Africa Researcher in April 2022. In her current role, she leads the Southern and  Eastern Africa research team, overseeing data collection, review, and ensuring data quality. Before joining ACLED, Bianca worked in humanitarian organizations and conducted conflict research in Brazil, Sierra Leone, and Cameroon, as well as on sexual violence in conflict at the United Nations Secretariat. She holds an MSc in International Politics and Conflict Studies from the University of Brasilia and a BA in International Relations from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro.
