Jamie Hackney

Jamie Hackney is an Associate Data Scientist at ACLED. His work focuses on applying statistical and machine learning methods to support ACLED's work, with an emphasis on natural language processing and large language models. He holds a BA in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish from Middlebury College. He has experience working with data in international development and policy research settings, including at the United Nations Office of the Special Adviser on Africa.
