Data update: Enhanced source coverage from new sources in ACLED’s Guatemala dataset
Enhanced coverage from Chapin TV and Soy 502
On 18 May 2026, ACLED published data from two new sources, Chapin TV and Soy 502, improving coverage for Guatemala. This update addresses a coverage gap created by the loss of a key source in October 2023. Data from Chapin TV cover events from 1 November to present, and data from Soy 502 cover events from 1 July 2021 to present. Both sources are covered in ACLED’s real-time data publications.
