Data update: Improved source coverage in ACLED’s Haiti dataset
Data from three new sources improve ACLED’s coverage of Haiti from January 2025 onward
On 27 July 2026, ACLED published data to improve coverage of Haiti from 1 January 2025 to present, incorporating reporting from Vant Bèf Info, Gazette Haiti, and Le Facteur. These sources are now part of ACLED’s real-time coverage.
Analytical note: Data from these sources are available from 1 January 2025 to present and have not been incorporated into the dataset for earlier periods. Users conducting analysis across this period should account for a structural increase of approximately 5% in event counts in Haiti, associated with the addition of these sources.
