On 19 May 2025, ACLED published an update to incorporate a bulk set of Risk and Security Management, Corporation (RSM) reports for Nigeria. This update was completed to process and integrate accumulated reporting, ensuring comprehensive coverage of events during the correction period. The majority of new events added are ‘Armed clash’ events in Borno state.
