Supplementary coding of Habla Como Habla, a local media outlet, has added approximately 2,300 new events to ACLED’s Honduras dataset that were not previously reported by other sources. The data have also provided additional information for approximately 60 existing events. The majority of the new events are demonstrations and attacks on civilians by local armed groups and gangs. The data cover the period of 2018 to the present.
