Violence Escalates in the Middle East in Response to the Israel-Palestine Conflict

Since the outbreak of the current Israel-Palestine conflict, the so-called ‘axis of resistance’ led by Iran has mobilized against Israel and the United States on multiple fronts across the Middle East. Iran-affiliated armed groups have launched almost 260 attacks on Israeli targets and Israeli-linked targets, and more than 80 against US targets and US-linked targets. In turn, the US and Israel have retaliated by launching over 900 attacks against ‘axis of resistance’ forces in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
