Conflict Surges in Sudan
Since the start of the fighting between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, ACLED has recorded more than 340 conflict incidents around the country, with over 1,800 reported fatalities. More than two-thirds of the clashes have taken place in cities of over 100,000 people.
