Rati Shubladze is the Europe & Central Asia researcher ACLED and has been with the organization since September 2018. In his role, he primarily provides support in the production of real-time and/or historical data for an allocated set of countries, which involve collecting reports and recording conflict in a set of countries in a standardized way each week. Rati holds a Ph.D. in sociology from Tbilisi State University and currently teaches the research methods and sociology in Georgian higher education institutions. Besides this, he has more than 10 years of experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research in Georgia and the South Caucasus.
