The ‘disorder type’ variable denotes the type of disorder a particular event falls into; either ‘political violence,’ ‘demonstrations,’ or ‘strategic developments.’ Events are classified as one or more of these disorder types based on the ‘sub-event type.’ Filtering the data on this variable will allow for analysis on specific types of disorder.
