Dr. Olajumoke (Jumo) Ayandele is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice at New York University’s Center for Global Affairs and a Public Voices Fellow with The OpEd Project and NYU’s Office of the Provost.
An expert in African governance, human security, and political stability, Dr. Ayandele’s research has earned numerous awards and grants. As a distinguished African Security Scholar, she collaborates with international and regional policymakers to advance peace and security initiatives across the continent.
She is a member of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Executive Directorate (CTED) Global Research Network and the Effectiveness of Peace Operations Network (EPON). Dr. Ayandele holds a Ph.D. in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, as well as an M.P.A. in International Development Policy and Management and a B.A. in Economics (Hons.) from New York University.
