Dr Chika Charles Aniekwe is a distinguished international development expert with over 20 years of substantial experience encompassing democratic governance, transition, conflict and peacebuilding, stabilisation, recovery, and resilience programmes. He recently served as the UNDP Senior Advisor and the Head of Stabilization for the Lake Chad Basin Regional Stabilization Strategy. Dr Aniekwe holds a PhD in Development Studies and a Master’s degree in International Development from the University of Bradford, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology. He is also a fellow at the Jack and Mae Nathanson Centre on Transnational Human Rights, Crime and Security at the Osgoode Hall Law School at York University Canada.
