Elham Kazemi is a Senior Research Associate at ACLED and has been with the organization since November 2018, originally hired as a North Africa researcher. She is currently a collaborator on the LASER project and supervises the Africa conflict observatories. Elham holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine, and an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Notre Dame. Elham has over six years of research experience working on conflict and political violence.
