Lennart Landman is the Director of Data at ACLED, where he oversees global data collection, methodology, quality assurance and special projects that drive enhancements in data collection, accessibility and interoperability.
Lennart is an expert in international conflict and security with over a decade of experience in think tank, academic and non-profit sectors. He has been with ACLED since 2017 leading regional desks covering Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, before working on data quality processes, methodology development and ACLED's data literacy programme. Before joining ACLED, he worked in the think tank and academic sectors on European defense and international security issues.
Lennart holds a BA and MA with honors in international relations from the University of Groningen.
